ABOUT MY STUDIO
Making music, enhancing lives
There's nothing better than seeing students of all ages find the music that is uniquely theirs. I love to help each student learn and grow by using a combination of tried and true method books, games, and online resources. My goal is to provide sound instruction while encouraging each student to find their own musical personality.
Multifaceted Learning
No one learns in exactly the same way. What works for one student may not work for another. With this in mind, I do my best to cater lessons to each individual student using both fundamental techniques and interesting and engaging materials.
WEEKLY PRIVATE LESSONS
Weekly private lessons are at the heart of the learning experience. I use a combination of method books, interesting repertoire that appeals to the individual student, games, and incentives to keep things fresh and engaging.
GROUP LESSONS
Periodic group lessons are a great way for students to share what they're learning with their peers. They play for each other, encourage one another, and have a terrific time learning theory through games and hands on activities.
RECITALS
Recitals are an important part of the learning experience. My students have a formal spring recital, and an informal performance opportunity during the Christmas season.
